Amid what can only be described as unique, stressful, and ultimately challenging times, a lot has been taking place behind the scenes at The HR Congress/We Are Hexa HQ.
To begin, I think it’s appropriate to quickly address something you may have already noticed or come across on social media. Stamford Global – the company behind The HR Congress and The Digital HR Innovation Summit (and many events in the past), no longer exists.
We are now known as We Are Hexa – and the organisation has undergone a few changes beyond the usual surface-level augmentations. So, let me take this opportunity to summarise what’s been happening in our little corner of the world!
We Are Hexa
We Are Hexa now operates under three distinct operational branches–featuring the same industrious people as before–but now with some new improvements!
HexaSpirit is the events arm of We Are Hexa, and is responsible for the production and operation of our summits and conferences. This is the part of our organisation that is dedicated to building live events that contribute value to the community, share knowledge, develop skills, and connect people.
HexaMind is an e-learning and online course provider that gives business professionals access to customised 5-week online courses directly led by exceptional business leaders. Our current course focus areas include: People and Organisations, Customer Success, and Key Account Management. We’ll be adding more courses in time – so keep an eye out!
Hexa Community – Under the umbrella of HexaMind, we’ve also developed a new online content library, The Hexa Community. It features an extensive database of content such as; videos, webinars, interviews, white papers, and podcasts that we think will be interesting to you. Access to the database can be purchased individually, or with a bespoke group account.HexaSoul
HexaSoul is our digital agency – created to help organisations bring the soul of their brand closer to the soul of their customers! We’re available to help develop great strategies, engaging and valuable content, manage influencers, and event production on various scales.
The Digital HR Innovation Week is coming this May!
Owing to the need for social distancing and public saftey measures in The Netherlands, The Digital HR Innovation Summit that was originally to take place in The Hague in April has been transformed into a free online event.
The new version of the summit is known as The Digital HR Innovation Week, and takes place from May 18th to 22nd. The event maintains much of the same agenda, but sessions will be streamed online for registered attendees from 15:00 (CET) each day during the week (for time zone conversions, please see our website).
Some of our ‘big idea’ sessions will include:
- Gerald Kane, The Technology Fallacy: Why People Are the Real Key to Digital Transformation
- Mark Levy, Creating a Crisis Proof EX Playbook
- Ade McCormack, Augmented Talent – Harnessing the Cognitive Capital of People at Work
- Dr. Jennifer Jordan, Leading in the Digital Age
- Mark Mortensen, Connected – Getting the Best Out of Organizations, Teams and People in the Digital Age
- Sangbreeta Moitra, Creating an Employee Tribe of Powerful Brand Ambassadors in the Age of Social and Digital
- Soumyasanto Sen, Digital HR Strategy – Achieving Sustainable Transformation in the Digital Age
We’re very happy to be able to continue to run this event for you–albeit in a different format. We hope that it will be of great interest to HR professionals who wish to learn more about the innovative ways HR is adapting in this increasingly digital age.
Registration for the event is free – so see you there!
Big Strides Ahead – The HR Congress 2020 in Valencia
Production on The HR Congress 2020 scheduled for Valencia (November 17-18) has been powering on. We’re very excited to continue work on what will be the 5th annual edition of our flagship event.
This year we are expecting over 1500 attendees, 70+ speakers, 10 tracks, as well as numerous masterclasses and workshops (which we will announce for you soon). Some of our confirmed keynote speakers include:
- Dave Ulrich, the father of modern HR, professor, author, and thought leader on HR and organisational development
- George Kohlrieser, former hostage negotiator, author, and Professor of Leadership and Organizational Behavior at IMD Business School
- Shefali Tsabary, author and speaker on conscious parenting and mindful living
- Padma Thiruvengadam, Chief Human Resources Officer at Takeda Pharmaceuticals
- William Tincup, President at RecruitingDaily.com
- Loren Shuster, CHRO at The Lego Group
While the event is still a number of months away (and we are certainly keeping an eye on the Covid-19 situation), we’ll be constantly updating the website and our social media channels with new information. Make sure you follow us and check in there for the latest news and updates!
Content? Yes, content!
Finally, we thought we would give you an update on some of the new content that we’ll be releasing in the coming months. The HR Congress and Hard Talk HR podcasts will continue to release episodes with various guests – all future and past episodes are available to check out.
The HR Congress YouTube page will constantly be uploading new videos including; sessions, interviews, the aforementioned podcasts, and other bits and pieces we think you’ll find value in.
If you would like to know more about our content, have a suggestion for us, or even would like to contribute in some way – drop us a message and we’ll be glad to talk over a coffee or two (or three).
And so this ends this rather long-winded update; please take care of each other, get plenty of exercise, have some good food, and stay at home!
What’s next on our agenda? The Digital HR Innovation Week (May 18-22) is coming up – registration is free, but the insights are invaluable. Check it out!
