Bernard Coulaty has devoted much of his professional life to understanding how employee engagement is impacted by the range of work-life variables. As the former VP HR for Pernod Ricard, and an experienced consultant, author, and speaker, he is fundamentally interested in making engagement a ‘new deal’ – challenging and re-thinking the traditional drivers of employee engagement.
As the author of the book Engagement 4.0, Bernard presents a vision of engagement in today’s workplace eco-systems, and situates it within the modern context of Employee Experience. Differentiating the two terms, he sees a value in understanding both as independent ideas, but also how they co-relate to the technological and adaptive workplaces of today.
The HR Congress spoke with Bernard last week about his session at the event in November, and some of the key ideas populating his recent work.
The 4th HR Congress Nice, November 19-20 will feature a selection of sessions that will explore this topic and much more! Follow the HR Congress Blog for more interesting ideas and content from around the world of work! And don’t forget to subscribe to The HR Congress Podcast!
