In this episode of The HR Congress Podcast, we feature a recording of a keynote presentation from The Digital HR Innovation Summit 2019 with Dr. Mark van Dongen, the then Head of HR at ArcelorMittal.

This presentation on Demographics and Robotization – Looking into Critical Topics Impacting the Future of Work is still an intensely relevant session for today. In some respects, it is even more relevant given current market pressures driven by the Covid-19 outbreak and continuing technological boom.

Mark suggests that before we get too carried away with doomsday scenarios, there are ways in which organisations and HR leaders can best manage upcoming changes to the constitution of the workforce. He posits that there are ways to reduce possible disruptions to the workforce, the workplace, and its people, while ultimately creating important opportunities for growth.
